Kyiv mayor to attend Cities Summit of the Americas

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has arrived in the United States for the Cities Summit of the Americas that will be held in Denver on April 26-28.

The mayor announced this on his Telegram channel, according to Ukrinform.

"At the invitation of our American partners, I arrived in the U.S. for the Cities Summit of the Americas that will take place in Denver on April 26-28," Klitschko said.

According to him, the first-ever summit will be held at the initiative of the U.S. Department of State and with the support of USAID. At the summit, the mayors of many cities of the Western Hemisphere will gather to strengthen cooperation and exchange experience in the development of local self-government.

"Today and tomorrow, in Washington, I will be talking about support and assistance to Ukraine with senators and congressmen, leading political experts and U.S. government officials," Klitschko said.
