Zelensky meets with United24 ambassadors
President Volodymyr Zelensky has met with ambassadors of the United24 fundraising platform and thanked them for uniting the world to help Ukraine.
The Head of State wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“I met with UNITED24 ambassadors, who are summing up the results of the first year of the fundraising platform together with us in Kyiv today. I am grateful to everyone for uniting the world around helping Ukraine,” he noted.
In particular, the President thanked Andriy Shevchenko and Liev Schreiber, the ambassadors of the "Medical Aid" area. To Oleksandr Usyk, Katheryn Winnick and Michel Hazanavicius, the ambassadors of the "Rebuild Ukraine" area. Thanks to Imagine Dragons' Mac Reynolds and Ty Arnold.
The President also welcomed the first ambassadors of the new direction "Education and Science" to our team – Paul Nurse and Ivanna Sakhno.
As reported by Ukrinform, United24 now have two new directions - education and humanitarian demining. In addition, five more ambassadors joined the platform, including scientists and Nobel laureates Paul Nurse, Edvard Moser, May-Britt Moser and Ukrainian Ivanna Sakhno.
