Over 60% of Ukrainians speak national language in daily life
In everyday life, 61% of Ukrainian citizens speak Ukrainian.
That's according to the data of an eighth wave of the "Degree of Society in Time of War" survey, Ukrinform reports.
The study showed that the largest increase in the share of the Ukrainian-speaking population is observed in the southern region (+23%) and in Kyiv (+23%), as well as in the eastern (+19%) region of Ukraine.
Young people (18-24 years old) and the older age group (55-60 years old) are the most active in switching to Ukrainian daily.
The survey was conducted by Gradus Research using a self-administered questionnaire in a mobile application. 1000 people filled out the questionnaire.
The Gradus online dashboard displays the population structure of cities with more than 50 thousand residents aged 18-60 by gender, age, settlement size, and region.
