Center for Child Protection opened in Ukraine - Zelensky
The Ukrainian authorities, foreign governments and international organizations are joining forces to bring home Ukrainian children abducted by Russian invaders.
The relevant statement was made by President Volodymyr Zelensky on the occasion of the opening of the Child Right Protection Center on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"During the opening of the Center for Child Protection, which will counter Russia's crimes against Ukrainian children, I got acquainted with the Bring Kids Back UA action plan. The Ukrainian government, foreign governments and international organizations are joining forces to return all young Ukrainian citizens to their homeland," Zelensky said.
The President emphasized that he wants to return the children to Ukraine as soon as possible and as soon as possible while they are children, which is the most important thing.
The President reminded that 371 children have been returned home so far.
"We want to return all of them, and the key meaning is probably in the name of the Bring Kids Back UA program. I sincerely wish us to bring all children back home to Ukraine and fully support this program. I am grateful to everyone who helps Ukraine on this path," the President added.
As reported, in Ukraine, Russian invaders violate all children's rights and have already killed 483 children, 989 have been seriously injured, 19.4 thousand have been deported, and 394 more children are missing.
