College teacher fired in Sevastopol "for discrediting Russian army"

A teacher of a college in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol was prosecuted for allegedly "discrediting the Russian army" in a comment on Telegram.

That's according to the local edition "Meridian of Sevastopol" with reference to the materials of the Russian-controlled Gagarinsky District Court of Sevastopol, Ukrinform reports.

It is reported that the woman left a negative assessment of the actions of the Russian military under the information message about the fall of an American drone in the Black Sea.

It is noted that at the time of the "offense" she was an English teacher at one of the Sevastopol colleges. However, at the time of the "court decision" she was officially fired from her job.

"This circumstance, as well as the fact that the woman has a young child, whom she is raising alone, was recognized by the 'court' as mitigating circumstances. As a result, the "court" fined the resident 15 thousand rubles (about 4,500 UAH - ed.)," the post says.

As reported, in the 15 months since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the invaders in the temporarily occupied Crimea have drawn up 350 protocols under Article 20.3.3 of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses for "discrediting the Russian army."
