Zelensky congratulates police officers on their professional holiday

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked the National Police for the safety and rescue of Ukrainians and wished law enforcement officers, first and foremost, gratitude from the people.

He said this in his greeting to police officers on their professional holiday, Ukrinform reports.

"Day of the National Police of Ukraine. Thank you for the safety of our people! Thank you for saving Ukrainians! Thank you for your heroism in battle! I congratulate all of our police officers and wish them first and foremost gratitude - gratitude of our entire nation to our police. The more effective each and every police officer is, the more grateful our people will be. Glory to Ukraine!" Zelensky said.

The Day of the National Police of Ukraine has been marked since 2018 on July 4.
