Deputies of the Lviv Regional Council, who served with summonses, come to military commissariat
Deputies of the Lviv Regional Council, who were served with summonses before the July 4 session, came to the Center for Recruitment and Social Support.
This was reported by Suspilne journalists from the scene, according to Ukrinform.
"I have the entire package of documents, a summons, a photo, a passport, an ID card - everything I need. Today we arrived here, I see my fellow deputies. I want to tell all my fellow MPs in Ukraine that they should not be afraid of this. Some have reservations, some do not, but we are obliged to fulfill our duty," said Yuriy Kholod, acting chairman of the Lviv Regional Council.
The official came to the Lychakiv-Zaliznychna Regional Military and Civilian Personnel Center.
As reported, 34 deputies of the Lviv Regional Council received summonses from the Center for Recruitment and Social Support on July 4 before the session. These are all men of military age or those who have not yet been mobilized. There are 56 men among the deputies of the regional council. 13 have been mobilized since the beginning of the full-scale war, and nine deputies are over 60 years old.
According to the law, mobilization measures do not apply only to MPs. Members of local and regional councils can be called up for military service on a general basis.
