Stefanchuk meets with managers and founders of charitable organizations
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk met with heads and founders of charitable organizations and charitable foundations of Ukraine.
"The third meeting with heads and founders of charitable organizations and charitable foundations of Ukraine," the speaker posted on Facebook.
Stefanchuk noted that among the meeting participants were volunteers, the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada, people's deputies, representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
"Every time we gather with the sole purpose of helping our volunteers, facilitating and simplifying their activities," the speaker said.
He said that among the main topics of the meeting were the extension of settlement deadlines for export and import transactions, the legal distinction between charitable and humanitarian aid, as well as the issue of lack of accounting and reporting procedure by volunteers, included in the Register of Volunteers.
In addition, according to Stefanchuk, representatives of the authorities and volunteers discussed the cancellation/reduction of bank fees on charitable payments, the situation with the import of vehicles for the Armed Forces and their temporary registration.
As reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainians have created a resource for beginner volunteers, where they have collected recommendations for those who have questions about helping the army.
