Bulgaria trying to minimize influence of Russian propaganda
In Bulgaria’s media space, measures are taken to reduce the influence of Russian propaganda.
This was announced by Bulgarian Defense Minister Todor Tagarev, who spoke at a briefing in Odesa on Monday, Ukrinform reports.
The minister noted that Bulgaria currently has no elaborate concept of combating Russian propaganda, which is seen as a problem.
"We are building our strategic communication capabilities and working with our allies to mitigate the impact of Russian propaganda, which, unfortunately, operates quite massively in our country," Tagarev said.
The Minister of Defense of Bulgaria added that the country is working against disinformation, but it should be a government-wide and society-wide approach.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Finnish security police, Supo, decried the reports in Russia’s media pf the alleged "persecution and recruitment" of Russian citizens in the country by foreign agents as an attempt at a malign psyop.
