In Irpin, in the Kyiv region, multi-storey buildings are being restored at the expense of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported this, according to Ukrinform.
"One of the sources of funding for reconstruction in the region is the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. At its expense, another residential building is being restored on the Hostomel highway," the statement reads.
The apartment building was heavily damaged during the active hostilities. Its facade and interfloor ceilings were damaged, windows and doors were smashed, and internal engineering networks and communications were destroyed.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration noted that major repairs have already begun.
The facility is planned to restore the floors, masonry and insulation of the facade, interior decoration of apartments and common areas. Windows and doors will also be installed. In addition, internal power, water and heating networks will be installed in the damaged areas. The damaged parts of the building are currently being dismantled.
"After all the reconstruction and repair work is completed, 206 families will be able to return to their homes. This is about 560 people who lived here before the war. The reconstruction of the region continues," the statement said.
