Power engineers restore electricity supply services for 16.5 thousand consumers per day
On October 19, 2023, Ukrainian power engineers restored electricity supply services for 16.5 thousand consumers, who had been left without electricity due to hostilities.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Energy Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Over the past day, power engineers have restored electricity supply services for 16.5 thousand consumers. Most of them are those from the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions,” the report states.
Four settlements were left without electricity due to Russian attacks in the Donetsk region and two – in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Power supply services were also interrupted due to hostilities for some consumers in the Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv regions.
In Kherson, power engineers reconnected 22 access points. A total of 1.5 thousand consumers are still remaining without electricity.
In Zaporizhzhia, power supply services were restored in the apartment block, which had recently been affected by a Russian missile attack.
Following technical failures, some consumers were left without electricity in the Zaporizhzhia and Odesa region. Power supply services were also interrupted for some consumers in the Kyiv region due to the adverse weather conditions.
