Ukraine has managed to bring another three children back home.

Ukrainian Parliament’s Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"We did this as part of the implementation of the Bring Kids Back UA action plan, initiated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. We also involve public organizations and international partners in this process," the ombudsman said.

According to Lubinets, this return was possible thanks to cooperation with the Orphans Feeding Foundation, particularly with Mariam Lambert, a co-founder of the organization.

He also thanked NGO Heroiam Slava (Jaanika Merilo) and Charity Fund Posmishka UA for their involvement.

"The work on returning children to the Motherland will continue, so once again I sincerely thank everyone who helps to do this. It is necessary for the state, it is necessary for our future," Lubinets emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, the UN's Independent International Commission of Inquiry on Ukraine documented the transfer of 31 children from Ukraine to Russia in May 2022, and concluded that it was an unlawful deportation, which is a war crime.
