During North America tour, Ukrainian band raises UAH 2M for speedboats to be donated to defense intel

Ukraine’s chillwave band Latexfauna during a recent Canada and U.S. collected UAH 2 million for speedboats to be transferred to Ukrainian defense intelligence units.

The funds were collected from the band’s recent gigs across Canada and the United States, as reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry.

Latexfauna performed in Toronto, Seattle, Vancouver, Boston, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

During the shows, charity auctions were held, where the musicians raffled off collectible souvenirs signed by the defense intelligence chief, Kyrylo Budanov.

As reported, the Boats for Defense Intelligence of Ukraine is an indefinite project launched by Diana Podolyanchuk's charity fund, being implemented with GUR’s assistance.

Star musicians, Ukrainian and international businesses, and all others seeking to help Ukraine in the fight against Russian invaders are welcome to join the initiative.
