Another child returned from temporarily occupied Kherson region

Another child, an eight-year-old boy, was returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine from the temporarily occupied Kherson region.

This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin, Ukrinform reports.

"An eight-year-old boy was rescued from Russian occupation," Prokudin wrote.

According to him, the child was returned thanks to the persistent work of the charity organisation Save Ukraine.

The boy and his parents are now safe. Doctors and psychologists are working with the family.

It is noted that since the beginning of 2024, 108 children from the Kherson region have been returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported, in autumn 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the right-bank part of the Kherson region, including the city of Kherson. Part of the region, located on the left bank of the Dnipro River, is temporarily occupied by Russian troops.
