Zelensky visits Ukrainian soldiers undergoing treatment

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has visited Ukrainian defenders undergoing treatment and presented them with state awards.

The head of state announced this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

During his visit to a medical facility, he talked with soldiers undergoing treatment and presented them with state awards.

Zelensky thanked them for defending Ukraine, for their strength, and "for everything they do to ensure that our country stands strong."

Earlier reports said that Zelensky had presented state awards to 350 service members of the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service, representatives of the State Bureau of Investigation and one rescue worker, including 111 posthumously.
