Mykolaiv, part of region in blackout

A significant part of the Mykolaiv region and the city of Mykolaiv remained without electricity due to an accident on high-voltage networks.

This was reported by the head of Mykolayiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaly Kim, in Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

"Many are without electricity. We located the accident site. No enemy strike. We will fix it in a couple of hours, if there are no other surprises," Kim wrote.

JSC Mykolaivoblenergo, the local energy distribution company, said over 272,000 consumers were left without electricity due to an accident on high-voltage networks. Repair work is in progress.

As reported earlier, the head of the Kherson Municipal Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, saod the city was also in blackout, and that the reasons were being investigated.
