Ukraine beats Slovakia in UEFA Nations League

Ukraine defeated Slovakia 1-0 in Lviv on Sunday in a match of the UEFA Nations League.

West Ham's Andriy Yarmolenko scored the only goal from the penalty spot in the 80th minute, Ukrinform reports.

After an away 2-1 win in the Czech Republic, Ukraine earned a second victory in Group 1 of League B.

Ukraine will play its next match in the UEFA Nations League against the Czech Republic at the Metalist Stadium in Kharkiv on October 16. The return match with Slovakia will be held in Trnava on November 16.
