Ukrainian women duo become European synchronized diving champions

The national anthem of Ukraine was played at the European Aquatics Championship in Belgrade.

Sofia Lyskun and Ksenia Bailo became champions of in synchronized diving from a 10-meter platform, reports Ukrinform with reference to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The Ukrainian duo received 288.78 points for their performance.

It is the first time that Ukraine’s athletes earned the top spot in this discipline at the continental championships.

Currently, the Ukrainian national diving team already has 4 EC awards (1 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze).

The competition in Belgrade will wrapped up on Sunday.
