Netherlands contributing EUR 138M for Ukraine's reconstruction

The Netherlands is contributing EUR 138 million for various projects to rebuild Ukraine.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte announced this on the social media platform X following his participation in the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin, Ukrinform reports.

"The Netherlands is contributing a new package of EUR 138 million for crucial energy infrastructure repairs, humanitarian aid and reconstruction initiatives by businesses," Rutte wrote.

He also added that the Netherlands would continue to provide military aid to Ukraine.

"But there's little point in reconstruction without robust armed forces. So we will also keep providing military support. We are talking with international partners about supplying a Patriot system to Ukraine. The Netherlands has made a radar and three launch systems available for this purpose," Rutte said.
