UNDP helping to restore war-damaged lyceum in Zhytomyr region

In Sinhury, Zhytomyr region, a lyceum damaged by Russian shelling is being restored as part of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) project.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration.

"The large-scale reconstruction of the war-damaged Sinhury lyceum in the Novohuivynske community was made possible by the EU4UASchools: Build Back Better project. It was initiated by the European Union and the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine," the statement said.

It is noted that thanks to the efforts led by the ECHO4SCHOOLS-UA: Build Back Better project, 31 educational institutions in the region affected by Russian aggression will receive a renovated educational environment.

As reported, repair works are being carried out in four lyceums in Berdychiv, Zhytomyr region, as part of the UNDP ECHO4SCHOOLS-UA: Build Back Better project.
