Denmark to provide additional grant to Ukraine Energy Support Fund

Denmark will transfer EUR 4.7 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund for the restoration of energy infrastructure in the Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions.

That’s according to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark will transfer an additional grant of about EUR 4.7 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund for the rapid restoration of critical energy infrastructure in the frontline Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions," the statement said.

As noted, in the past few weeks, Germany, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Austria have contributed funds or announced their intention to contribute to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund. Thus, the total amount of listed and announced donor contributions to the fund totals more than EUR 551 million.

As reported, Sweden will consider supplying Ukraine with equipment for the development of distributed generation.
