Eight civilians killed due to shelling of Avdiivka – OSCE

Eight civilians have been killed due to militants’ shelling of Avdiivka.
Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Alexander Hug said this at a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Militants use Grad multiple launch rocket systems in more than 40% of the attacks. The use of these systems leads to civilian casualties. We recorded 38 victims, including eight fatal cases," Hug said.
He noted that the OSCE had repeatedly warned of the possibility of escalation, as opposition parties were at a short distance from each other.
