The Russian Federation continues its attack on Ukraine, hoping that Ukrainian forces will get tired. But we are not tired.

"Our boys and girls, all defenders of Ukraine, prevented the enemy from implementing its plan of quick invasion on the first day. Ukrainians show real heroism. The enemy was stopped in most directions. Battles are ongoing. The Russian Federation continues its attack on Ukraine, hoping that Ukrainian forces will get tired. But we are not tired," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said during his morning address on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He noted that the enemy's aircraft are operating vilely over residential areas, including in Kyiv. At the same time, Zelensky assured that the Air Defense Forces of Ukraine protect the sky over the Ukrainian state as much as possible.

He also compared the current situation in Kyiv to the 1941 attack. "Terrible explosions in the morning sky over Kyiv, bombing, hitting a residential house, fire – all this resembles the first such attack on our capital in 1941," Zelensky said.

As reported, on February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Missile strikes were launched on a number of Ukrainian cities, and military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were attacked.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, more than 60 battalion tactical groups of Russian troops have been deployed in the territory of Ukraine. The main purpose of their operation is to block Kyiv and create a land corridor to Crimea.

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a general mobilization in Ukraine.

On Friday morning, February 25, enemy aircraft was shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the immediate vicinity of Kyiv.
