Kuleba to Russian women: Your government is lying, Russian soldiers in Ukraine greeted with weapons, not flowers

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian diplomat posted a respective appeal on Twitter.

"Mothers, wives, daughters of Russian soldiers! Take your men home. They came to a foreign land to kill innocent people, to destroy our homes. Your government is lying. The people of Ukraine meet them with weapons, not flowers. Demand that your government stop the war of conquest, save your loved ones," Kuleba wrote.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion of the country. Missile strikes were carried out on a number of Ukrainian cities, military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were attacked.

Martial law was introduced in Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree introducing general mobilization.
