The Ukrainian Armed Forces were systematically increasing over the past day the group that performs the task of defending Kyiv in the northern and northeastern directions.
Ukraine's Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar announced this on her Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.
"Also today, the Air Force intercepted the enemy's attack aircraft and transport aircraft in the sky over Kyiv. The Navy disrupted a naval landing in the Black Sea Operational Zone. Over the past day, the JFO group continued to conduct active mobile search and strike operations in the area of the Joint Forces Operation. And we switched to maneuvering actions," Maliar said.
