Russian invasion update: In Irpin near Kyiv, three households on fire after enemy shelling

In Irpin, Kyiv region, as a result of today's shelling, three residential buildings caught fire. It is feared that people may be trapped in their basements, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports via Telegram.
“On February 27, at 12:21, in the town of Irpin, three private households set on fire as a result of shelling on Ozerna Street. According to preliminary information, people may be hiding in the basements,” the report says.
The State Emergency Service rescue and response team have rushed to the scene.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushin said in a video address that the town defenders had repelled an attack by Russian troops.
