Army says Odesa region "stuffed" with Russian saboteurs
Ukrinform
The Ukrainian forces defending Odesa region say that the area is "stuffed" with subversive elements who provide assistance to Russian invaders, including passing tips on the movement and deployment of the Ukrainian troops, photographing the area, launching drones, and more.
This was stated on Facebook by the Knights of the Winter Campaign 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade, Ukrinform reports.
"The City of Odesa and the entire Odesa region are stuffed with subversive elements that either help the invaders or work directly for them. They transmit data on the movement and deployment of troops, do the spot marking, set lighting signals, launch drones in unauthorized locations, and take pictures to pass all information to the enemy," the statement said.
The Brigade notes that in a joint effort, the Ukrainian servicemen, border guards, and National Guardsmen, keep locating and apprehending enemy saboteurs on a daily basis.
Those who have spotted suspicious persons who are not local to the area and their movements across towns and villages are asked to report them to the nearest police station or a checkpoint where the military or National Guards are based.im
