Russian invasion update: More than 30 people injured in shelling in Kharkiv, 1 woman died
In Kharkiv, 15 servicemen and 16 civilians were hospitalized as a result of rocket artillery shelling with injuries of varying severity. One woman died.
"After the last shelling of the city of Kharkiv, 15 servicemen and 16 civilians were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity. One woman (civilian) died," the press service of the Kharkiv City Council reports.
As noted, the number of injured may change as the shelling ended recently. The death toll will be announced later.
Over the past day, 44 wounded, including 20 servicemen, were taken to the O.I. Meshchaninov Kharkiv city clinical hospital of emergency aid and the Kharkiv municipal clinical multi-field hospital No.2544. Of them, two servicemen and five civilians died.
As reported, Russian troops launched massive strikes on residential neighborhoods in Rogan and Oleksiyivka districts in Kharkiv city. According to preliminary data, at least three people died. Saltivka district also came under fire. Data on casualties are being clarified.
