Luxembourg to send anti-tank weapons to Ukraine
That's according to Luxembourg Times, Ukrinform reports.
"Faced with the urgency and the deterioration of the situation on the ground, the government did not hesitate to show solidarity and to make these means available in order to support the Ukrainian army in the fight against the Russian invader," Luxembourg Defence Minister Francois Bausch said in a statement.
According to the statement, Luxembourg's army will ship 100 light anti-tank weapons to the Ukrainian army along with four-wheel-drive vehicles and 15 military tents.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said earlier that NATO allies continued to increase assistance to Ukraine, including the supply of necessary air defense and anti-tank weapons systems, as well as financial and humanitarian support.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of an invasion of Ukraine. Martial law was imposed. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization.
