Russian invaders have shelled nine settlements in Donetsk Region, killing one person in the village of Zoriane and damaging 10 houses.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military and Civil Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on his Facebook page, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Russians continue to shell civilians in Donetsk Region. Today, as of 04:30 p.m., at least nine settlements came under shelling. In the village of Zoriane, one person was killed and a house was damaged,” Kyrylenko wrote.

Eight houses were damaged in the village of Novomykhailivka. The village of Opytne was left without electricity, as the high-voltage line was damaged. The following villages were also left without electricity due to shelling: Tonenke, Vodiane and Sieverne. In Vodiane, a house was also hit. Electricity supplies were interrupted in the village of Verkhniotoretske, and fighting is underway nearby. The Grad projectile hit near the city of Svitlodarsk. One house was damaged in shelling in the village of Kalynivka.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war.
