Large batch of military aid coming in within hours, to strengthen our defenses - Kuleba
This was stated at an online briefing by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The Foreign Minister stressed that the organization of military assistance to Ukraine is currently an absolute priority for Ukrainian diplomacy.
He also informed that diplomats together with the military are working to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine by arranging supplies of combat aircraft. According to Kuleba, these decisions are already in the final stage of making.
"I can't tell you all the positions and countries from which they’re coming for security reasons, so I'll just name some without reference to nations. A large consignment of Javelins and howitzers, small arms, personal protective equipment, man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems, 5,000 grenade launchers, anti-aircraft systems, modern sniper rifles, ammunition, helmets, bulletproof vests, large batches of Stingers will strengthen our defense in the coming hours," Kuleba said.
As reported, Russia launched a war with Ukraine on February 24 at the behest of aggressor President Vladimir Putin. For the sixth day in a row, Russian troops are shelling and destroying key infrastructure, missiles are aimed at resident buildings. Martial law has been imposed in Ukraine
