Yevhen Malyshev, a 19-year-old biathlete, was killed in a battle near Kharkiv city.
According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Verkhovna Rada wrote on Telegram.
"Two years ago, the biathlete was a member of the junior national team. May memory of the hero live forever,” the report says.
According to the public organization Biathlon of the Future, Malyshev served in the Armed Forces under a contract.
