Zelensky: Ukrainians more united in this war than during 30 years of independence
That's according to Zelensky's video address published on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"I wish you good health, our united country! I did not accidentally say 'united.' The seventh day of this terrible war has begun. A war that we feel in the same way. During this time we have more unity than during more than 30 years. At first, we were equally scared. Then it was equally painful, but now it's the same, except for the victory, except for the truth, except for the peace, except for the peace we want to come to, except for the lives of our people we care about, except for Ukraine. We forgave each other. We loved each other. We help each other. We are afraid for each other," Zelensky said.
Russia went to war with Ukraine on February 24 at the behest of aggressor President Vladimir Putin. For the seventh day in a row, Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, with missiles hitting residential buildings.
Ukraine has officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation to the International Court of Justice in The Hague. ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan has launched an investigation into the situation in Ukraine.
