Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile units destroyed three planes and two helicopters of Russian troops in one day.
According to Ukrinform, the Air Force Command announced this on Facebook.
On March 2, the crews of the Su-24m and Su-25 combat aircraft provided air support to units of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, destroying columns of Russian military equipment and manpower in the Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions.
"During the day, anti-aircraft missile units destroyed three enemy planes and two helicopters of the invaders. Believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine!" the Air Force Command said.
On March 2, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that up to 30 Russian fighter jets violated Ukraine's airspace, mainly from Belarus, and bombed civilians.
