Kuleba to discuss with NATO foreign ministers anti-aircraft arms supply to Ukraine

The top diplomat stated this, speaking with the Rada TV channel, Ukrinform reports.

In particular, the Ukrainian foreign minister said that on March 4, he would take part in a NATO foreign ministerial.

"Our issue is broader: it is, on principle, about Ukraine's air and missile defense. This is the most vulnerable spot now, so we need to talk not only about shutting the sky, but also about systematic and very serious support from Ukraine's air defense partners, i.e. about providing us with specific heavy air defense weapons," said the minister.

Kuleba also noted that Ukraine needs much more serious air defense systems than Stinger and other MANPADS, and the relevant work is now underway.

As reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24 declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been destroying infrastructure and massively shelling residential areas in Ukrainian cities and towns using, artillery, MLR systems, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.

The European Union has imposed a powerful package of sanctions against Russia as an aggressor power.
