Zelensky: 'I'm sure we'll soon be able to tell our people - come back'
He stated this in a video message, Ukrinform reports.
"We managed to prevent a humanitarian crisis at the border. We managed to organize the situation so that thousands of Ukrainian women and children were treated with dignity. Nobody asks what their nationality is, what their faith is, how much money they have. In fact, we no longer have a border with friendly Poland, because we are on the side of good, we do not have borders," Zelensky said.
He said he had spoken to the presidents of France and Poland at night. According to him, he has such conversations every day, and interaction is constant.
"I am immensely grateful to each of them, as I am immensely grateful to [Polish President] Andrzej [Duda] for his determination and devotion to our common cause: the protection of people. I am grateful to Andrzej's wife Agata! I sincerely consider them my friends," Zelensky said.
At the same time, he expressed hope that soon all Ukrainians who left the country due to the war will be able to return home.
"I am sure that soon we will be able to tell our people: come back! Return from Poland, Romania, Slovakia and all other friendly countries. Come back, because there is no more threat," Zelensky said.
