In Chernihiv region, Ukrainian military defeated enemy forces advancing on Kyiv

"In Chernihiv region today, units of the Operational Command North troops defeated enemy forces, and once again stopped them from advancing towards the Ukrainian capital," the report says.

In addition, Russian equipment was burned and disabled, the occupiers ran away.

"However, this will not save them: Russian enemy soldiers have no food, fuel, they are demoralized and ready to surrender. Instead, Ukrainian defenders are confidently holding the line of defense, ready to defend the region, the state and its people," the Operational Command North wrote.
