Electric substation, filling station in Lebedyn destroyed after Russian bombing

An electric substation, a bread factory and a filling station in the town of Lebedyn, Sumy region, have been destroyed as a result of enemy bombing.

Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the head of the Sumy regional military administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"As a result of the bombing of Lebedyn on March 5, a power substation, Lebedyn Bread Factory and a filling station were destroyed. Windows in houses were broken. Electricity was only partially restored in the town, he wrote.

He also said that there was no mobile communications in Krasnopillia, and clashes occurred in Sumy on March 6-7. There are casualties. Trostianets also remains out of Ukraine's control.

As was reported earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying infrastructure and residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in the country and general mobilization was announced.

Ukraine officially filed a lawsuit against the Russian Federation to the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
