Enemy suffering losses, planning new rocket attacks on large cities - General Staff

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook.

According to the latest information, as of 18:00 on March 7, the Ukrainian defense forces continue to conduct a defensive operation within the Southern, Eastern and Northern operational zones, and the Joint Forces - in the eastern part of the Donetsk operational district. Important districts and routes are being protected, and the defense of the city of Kyiv continues.

In other territories close to the area of hostilities, a stabilization operation is being carried out and territorial defense tasks are being performed, including along the state border of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Air Force carries out is repelling the enemy's missile and air strikes and air attacks, protecting important (critical) infrastructure in Ukraine and groups of troops from the air.

In the village of Myla, Kyiv region, a unit of Kadyrov mercenaries is firing at civilians.

"Enemy groups operating in certain areas of Konotop and Okhtyrka have lost up to 50 percent of their personnel. To continue their advance, they need to regroup and replenish supplies," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

According to the report, the enemy's insidiousness is manifested in tactics of terror against civilians, shelling of humanitarian convoys organized by the Ukrainian authorities, organizations of propaganda convoys and attempts to legalize the occupation authorities in some occupied territories.

"The moral and psychological state of the enemy remains extremely low and tends to deteriorate. In some areas, the occupiers are throwing out their own documents, trying to return to Russia," the General Staff of the Armed Forces said.

As was reported earlier, an air strike on the city of Makariv, Kyiv region, killed 13 people.

The war with Russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine since February 24.
