Zelensky recalling peacekeepers to strengthen Army in repelling Russian aggression
The photo of the relevant decree was published by Deputy Head of the President’s Office Andriy Sybiha on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"President of Ukraine V. Zelensky has decided to recall Ukrainian peacekeepers, highly professional soldiers, from all missions around the world, along with their hardware, to strengthen our Army now in response to Russian aggression," Sybiha said.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops have been killing civilians, shelling and destroying key infrastructure, and their missiles have been hitting Ukrainian households.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
