"Entire Britain, from ordinary citizens to Royal Family, supports Ukraine," Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
She informed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had visited the Ukrainian Cultural Centre in London where volunteers collect and sort humanitarian aid for the affected Ukrainians. The First Lady published photos and videos of this visit.
Zelenska also published photos featuring Prince of Wales and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, praying for our country at the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in London. They brought sunflowers with them.
The First Lady expressed special gratitude to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for making a private contribution to help Ukraine.
"Such support not only heals and warms thousands of destinies. It brings us closer to victory," stressed the wife of the President of Ukraine.
On February 24, president Putin announced the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying key infrastructure, massively hitting residential areas of Ukrainian towns and villages using artillery, multiple-launch rocket system, and ballistic missiles.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
