Zelensky, Biden agree on further steps to support Ukrainian defense

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has discussed with U.S. President Joe Biden the current situation in Ukraine.

Zelensky wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“Had a substantive conversation with U.S. President Joe Biden. Gave him the assessment of the situation on the battlefield, informed about the crimes of Russia against the civilian population. We agreed on further steps to support the defense of Ukraine and increase sanctions against Russia,” Zelensky wrote.

As Ukrinform reported, on March 8, U.S. President Joe Biden announced that the United States banned Russian oil and gas imports.
