Russian troops suffer losses and retreat near Mykolaiv
The relevant statement was made by Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Head Vitalii Kim on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Active hostilities are underway near Huryivka. We are trying to push them farther away. Some of them are running away, some of them are attempting to retreat,” Kim told.
In his words, local residents should not be afraid when hearing blasts and shooting.
“We are moving forward, doing our business. Everything is okay. And, please, do not take photos or shoot videos,” Kim stressed.
A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching missile strikes on residential areas in Ukraine.
