Ukraine’s Air Force reports aerial battles in several areas
That’s according to the Air Force Command, Ukrinform reports.
On March 11, a tactical group of Su24m bombers, Su-25 attack aircraft, and Mi-24 helicopters carried out up to ten raids on enemy convoys, involving missile and bomb strikes targeting armored hardware and manpower.
Su-27 and MiG-29 fighter aircraft challenged outnumbering enemy forces in up to ten aerial battles in several directions, having returned to their bases with zero losses.
Nine medium-range and short-range air-to-air missiles were fired at enemy aircraft.
The reports on the performance of Ukraine’s Buk-M1 and S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems are being clarified. According to preliminary data, five air targets were destroyed, including an Outpost unmanned aerial vehicle and four helicopters.
The Operational Command North also reported the downing of a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber in Chernihiv region.
According to earlier reports, in an act of provocation, Russian warplanes flew into Ukraine from Belarus and hit a peaceful area in the Belarusian territory on March 11, in order to blame the Ukrainian Air Force.
