Ukrainian defenders repulse 10 enemy attacks in Luhansk and Donetsk regions
"In Donetsk and Luhansk directions, our soldiers repulsed 10 enemy attacks over the day," the press service of the Joint Forces Operation posted on Facebook on the evening of March 19.
It is noted that the Ukrainian defenders destroyed 10 armored assault vehicles, 2 multi-purpose light-armoured towing vehicles, 8 tanks, 7 mechanized infantry fighting vehicles, 1 armored personnel carrier, 10 trucks.
"The losses of the enemy's manpower amounted to more than 100 people," the press service added.
On February 24, Russian president Putin announced the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, and ballistic missiles.
