The air defense units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down three helicopters of Russian invaders over the past day.

"On Saturday, March 19, the enemy significantly reduced its presence in the Ukrainian sky. Therefore, unfortunately, the air defense shot down only three helicopters of the Russian fascists today [March 19]. So, the daily plan for the disposal of air Russcists was not fulfilled," the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

It is noted that in order to fulfill this plan, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expects the allies not only to make statements and applause to the Ukrainian Heroes, but to provide modern air defense systems and fighters.

"Currently, the Air Force successfully beat the occupiers with weapons of the 1980s, while the Russcists use the latest weapons against us – hypersonic missiles and aircraft – which significantly surpass our weapons both in number and combat characteristics. The situation may change radically when modern equipment from partners comes into service and we close the sky from Russcist terrorism," the statement reads.
