The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Internal Affairs Ministry on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The Ukrainian military continue to defend Mariupol. Street battles are raging. The special detachment of the National Guard of Ukraine continues to successfully destroy the enemy vehicles and manpower,” the report states.

According to the data from the ministry, during a regular raid, the Ukrainian military destroyed Russia’s armored vehicles and personnel.

“Over the past day, the enemy’s irreversible losses have reached up to 50 troops, two tanks, two armored personnel carriers (APCs), one MT-LB, and one more APC has been left by them on the battlefield. Several trucks were also destroyed,” the ministry noted.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching missile strikes on residential areas in Ukrainian cities and villages, killing civilians.
