President Volodymyr Zelensky has discussed with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson the course of hostilities and defense assistance to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian head of state wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“Had a phone conversation with Boris Johnson. Received assurances of his support on the eve of tomorrow's important meetings. Discussed the course of hostilities and defense assistance to Ukraine. We will win together,” he wrote.

As Ukrinform reported, on March 20, Johnson stated that the UK would continue to step up military, economic and diplomatic support “to help bring an end to this terrible conflict.”

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
