Update on Russian losses in Ukraine war: Over 16,000 personnel, 115 warplanes, 561 tanks

The enemy’s total combat manpower losses since the beginning of the war amount to approximately 16,100. Also, the Ukrainian Army destroyed 561 main battle tanks and 115 warplanes.

This was announced on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

"The total approximate combat losses on the part of the enemy, from February 24 to March 25, are as follows: nearly 16,100 servicemen, 561 tanks, 1,625 armored combat vehicles, 291 artillery systems, 90 MLR systems, 49 air defense units, 115 warplanes, 125 helicopters, 1,089 vehicles, 5 vessels, 72 fuel tank trucks, 53 operational and tactical-level UAVs, and 18 units of special equipment," the statement said.

The data on enemy losses is being updated, while calculations are complicated amid highly intense hostilities.

As reported, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been destroying infrastructure, massively shelling residential areas of Ukrainian cities and towns using artillery, rockets, ballistic missiles, and bombs.
