Ukraine Army controlling situation in Kyiv region
Oleksandr Hruzevych, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Ground Forces Command, said this at a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center Kyiv, Ukrinform reports.
"The situation in and around Kyiv is stable and fully controlled by our armed forces. The situation is a little tense near Irpin. To date, the enemy has stopped its intentions to move in the direction of Brovary and Boryspil and is not ready for active operations. That's according to the interception of radio communications and our intelligence data. Near Irpin, the enemy is attempting to resume the offensive and completely capture Irpin. These attempts are unsuccessful," he said.
According to Hruzevych, the Ukrainian Armed Forces control a huge part of the region, and Makariv remains in the grey zone.
